I've assembled my first SFF PC Build with Dan A4-SFX case (as silent as possible using Silverstone Nightjar NJ450-SXL PSU)

Nothing extraordinary, but it's a decent build.

Upgrade or new build will include Dan A4-SFX v4.1, custom cables, 120mm AIO and newer mini ITX GPU (most probably some sort of Nvidia RTX).

You can use full length GPU. Here's the excerp from Dan A4 specs:

Upgraded coller from Noctua to Corsair H60 AIO
But, I would have a question. Since, tubes form AIO are pretty long, is there a way to manage it somehow and to close the side panel?

After being persuasive with plastic strips, I was able to tuck all cables down. I had to take metal bracket-holder for PSU out, in order for Silverstone NJ 450 to fit in, though.

I have expected cooler environment, but...With Noctua NH-L9a AM4, after 5 consecutive CB R20 runs, temps reached 91 degrees Celsius and with Corsair H60, under same conditions, only 1 degree Celsius less, 90 degrees Celsius.

I hope you removed the plastic shield, furthermore the correct order for low noise is radiator, fan & psu and not fan, radiator & psu. What fan do you use on the radiator? There is nearly no space between PSU and Radiator so with a normal PSU like the Corsair SF450 the hot air from the radiator can move into the PSU and than out of the case, but with your PSU the hot air is locked between PSU and radiator.

From the 2nd picture the plastic shield is still in place.

I hope you removed the plastic shield, furthermore the correct order for low noise is radiator, fan & psu and not fan, radiator & psu. What fan do you use on the radiator? There is nearly no space between PSU and Radiator so with a normal PSU like the Corsair SF450 the hot air from the radiator can move into the PSU and than out of the case, but with your PSU the hot air is locked between PSU and radiator.

I think he's trying to do a push-pull config with the fan upfront as intake and the PSU fan as exhaust, that's why he flipped the PSU. I guess that would be better than rad-fan-psu fan? Would you recommend flipping the PSU or just leave it in standard and then have the rad fan blow hot air against the back of the PSU? @dondan

Hi Dan, firstly I would like to thank you for your suggestions. Actually, that fan-radiator-psu configuration and leaving a plastic foil that divides radiator and psu, I found on one of the YT channels tackling Dan A4 and AIOs:
(attention to 4:21)


I guess, a rework is pending...

PSU is completelly silent and shielded, there is no fan at all.

yeah you're right. just looked up your PSU model, didn't know it was a passive cool one haha

Is the plastic to be removed for all builds? Or what is the driving factor that you should remove it?

Hi Dan, I forgot to mention that fan is default Corsair's coming with H60.

Plan to switch the order to radiator-fan-psu and to put slimmer fan.

Hi all,

For existing DAN A4 build, I got rid of Silverstone NJ450 SFX-L PSU in favor of Corsair SFX SF600 PSU.

Also I have switched to Corsair H75 AIO.

May I, kindly ask you what would be correct orientation between Radiator, fan (slim Noctua a12x15) and PSU. Also shall I orient fan to push out hot air from the case or to pull in cold air from outside of the case.

Please have a look at the pics for better understanding of situation inside of the case.

Top view: please notice, almost nonexistant space between fan and psu.
