Anybody knows if this board is compatible with the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Air cooler?
Thanks.From what I can see it looks like it should be. According to this AM4 installation guide, the cooler fits onto the included backplate. Only the retention parts on the top of the board are replaced.
Ok. Just got an updated email from Noctua apologizing for the long delay. They said they'll be sending the parts to install the l9a on this using spacers (no backplate). I'll post a pic here when I receive them.
However, we received feedback from reviews as well as the community about the difficult to reach Clear CMOS button.
On the updated (MAX) model, the Clear CMOS button has been moved from the PCB to the I/O panel for easier access.
I found, what in new BIOS you can set passive mode for chipset fan. But is not passive mode, it's convulsions mode.
