Hi,

after a long time, I finished my M1 v6 (ordered in 2019, IIRC one of the first batch) build. And, I run into problems:

*Front*

*Montage of 2 SDD*, Note the deepth is minimal by use of the other holes

*Top View*, note the left touch between front and SSD Montage

So, did I misunderstand the manual? How to fix this?

Thanks

I have the original version, so not sure if this has changed. The dual bracket is for situation if you mount the SSD on the side of the case (other side). The space in front of the case was originally designed to fit a slim optical drive, and doesn't have enough clearance for 2 SSDs.

I agree with the post just above. That is what the manual says you should do.

i am also doing that in mine

I own a v6.1, so i'm not 100% sure if its possible, but i removed the ODD bracket before because i don't need an optical drive. With these additional millimeters i have enough space for two SSDs. It's a close fit, but works perfectly fine for me.
