Definitely going to get one of these to make a hell of a hack pro, hopefully with no handle.

Likely build will be:
  • ATX motherboard
  • i9-9900K
  • Noctua cooler
  • 64GB ram
  • NVME SSD (hopefully PCI Gen 4)
  • TBD AMD graphics card
I'm also considering water cooling, but again depends on support in OpenCore. I've also considered doing my own CPU & GPU coolers with longer heat pipes to put the coolers on the front of the case.

I'm sort of sad that the general consensus is that a handle is not wanted.
I would personally get a lot of utility out of it...

I like the concept of the handle (and would also use it alot), but personally would be better served by a Cerberus-style permanent handle.

You're probably right, but the hideaway handle looks so slick....
Reminds me of the G4 Cube in a way.

I dont see the point of a handle, you wouldnt be able to carry a monitor/case...etc at once anyway for any distance and itd be safer/easier to carry the case with two hands. If mobility is key there are plenty of power laptops that can run external full gpu these days.

I would rather the hardware inside was cooler and more stable with 2x120/140 fans in the top.

You can carry a case in one hand and a monitor in the other easily.
My cousin does it with his Cerberus X and a 27" monitor.

I fail to understand how someone couldn't handle that.

Personally, I have no use for the handle due to the case/computer not being transported. Plus more than likely, if I am moving a computer, probably going to use two hands.

If you actually bothered to read what I typed you'd have understood "for any distance" ment that you CAN carry both but not for a long way.

Jeez.

I'm sorry if I caused any annoyance. I did read, and I did understand.
A 3D printed handle on the screen, and the included Cerberus handle.
With that, you can carry them for a while.
Personally, I don't know anyone that takes their PC on a 2-mile hike.

Exactly... you carry PC equipment for short distances... hence why a handle is generally redundant... ironically if you actually needed regularly carry it for 2 miles it might have some more value.

Yes, and you were saying you would rather carry your PC two handed. So what am I to do about my monitor?
"I dont see the point of a handle, you wouldnt be able to carry a monitor/case...etc at once anyway"
Yes, you can carry a monitor and a case at the same time if you have a handle. Hence why I want one.

@PlayfulPhoenix any chance of a swappable top panel?
(Could just message you on discord but too lazy XD)

I totally get the handle would be nice, just would be better if it wasn't so intrusive into the case. If it wasn't blocking the VRM heat sink I'd be fine with it, but would prefer a clean top on the case. Maybe best as an optional feature.

Any idea who is going to manufacture this? Lian Li in Taiwan or some other company based in the mainland?
