Power Supply Implications of products without CE label

I'm considering a PSU like the G-unique, but I'm not sure what the implication of a product without CE or similar certification might be. Should there happen something and, for instance, my house got burned to the ground, would my insurance company refuse a claim due to the missing certificate? Does any of you have specific experiences or more knowledge to share? Thanks!

Completely anecdotal, but in my experience as a healthcare practitioner who frequently deals with insurers they will use ANY excuse possible as a reason not to pay out on something.
