Increase volume from 9.8L to 10.5L to support MSI Suprim X 30XX?

  • Yes, worth the trade off to be more compatible with components

  • No, not worth it b/c it is not better than the ROG 30XX, which fits now at <10L

Looking at the specs I'd say the C14s will def be better. Not to mention the layout of the new case should be much better for temps.

I'm thinking 2 8cm intake fans in the back to flow air towards the cpu cooler and next to the cpu cooler a big exhaust fan at least 14cm in size to exhaust heat from the rear gpu fan would make this a great thermal design?

Indeed, there is a significant difference after viewing multiple reviews. Would love to see the differences GPU wise ! :)

Okay thanks.
No criticism so don't take it the wrong way, but for me personally that's concerning looking at the accessories that were planned for the T1.1.

I get it.

Between the E-White disaster taking up all the machine time, delays and just too many people asking for accessories on a prototype design. We just moved on.

The current version is design for longevity, which should give us time to make the Accessories.

Is there a huge difference between C14S in this layout and NH-L12(s) in a sandwich layout (CPU or/and GPU wise) ? With the NH-L12 sandwich layout, are we ‘’still’’ limited to FE and EVGA XC3 (ultra) in terms of GPU slots in the 1.5 ? Planning to use a 5600X non OC, so i’d favour cooling better the GPU.
(sorry for my english)

The C14S and L12S are not even in the same league in terms of thermal cooling.

L12S is enough for 5600X, C14S is between U12S and D15 territory (see below), it can cool a 5950X, different class entirely.

Just wanted to point out that Sandwich mode is just like V1.1 meaning 140-150mm tall, up to 320mm GPU 2 slot (approx). It will not be just FE and XC3. So could have L12 with almost any 2 slot GPU.

How does the C14S compare to the standard EK 240 setup? Or I suppose in this case 280 is possible.

Amen, that's music to my ears.

For those of us planning on opting for the Tower config, would it be possible to make the rubber feet easily removable (possibly magnetic)? I know I'm probably a niche case, but I move my system around my house a lot, and being able to switch between Tower and Reference/Sandwich easily without having to unscrew anything would be a godsend.

Can’t wait to see the GPU thermals in this configuration !

2021-09-16: Updating T1 V1.5 name to T1 V2.0

Too many updates to the new version, and it's nothing like previous version. So it's now officially T1 V2.

To those curious about how this update relates to T1 EVO (aka V2.0), this version is V2.0 because it has all of EVO's <10L features excluding transformation.

For the latest details, see our subreddit post here.
