Increase volume from 9.8L to 10.5L to support MSI Suprim X 30XX?

  • Yes, worth the trade off to be more compatible with components

  • No, not worth it b/c it is not better than the ROG 30XX, which fits now at <10L

Any status update on the December 1-4 Batch? Last we heard there was 40% left of this batch. Has more orders been dispatched? Will they continue to do so, or are we waiting until the production resumes with a new manufacturer before more of these orders are filled?

Hi All, I have a small question.
Is it possible in 3 slot mode, to put the riser bracket in 2 slot mode, and if yes how ? I remember seeing that somewhere but Im not sure if I imagined it....

@NinoPecorino that thread predates T1 2.0 announcement.
One of more recent statements:
We are planning to upgrade to PCIe 4.0 Riser around 2021Q2 Next year.
2.0 is planned for April, April is technically 2021Q2. So should we expect a 4.0 riser in T1 2.0?

What are the additional expected changes for V2.0 over V1.1 compared to what you already listed? I think that'd affect some people's decision on whether to stick with V1.1 or wait for V2.0.
FormD email:
1. Support for taller (140mm) and longer (320mm) GPUs, like the Asus ROG Strix Nvidia 30XX and AMD 6X00/XT

2. Support for 2.5 and 2.75-slot GPU spacing, for more options on space allocation between the CPU/Motherboard and GPU

3. Support for an optional Vertical Stand Kit (v2 exclusive), to allow T1 to sit vertically on a desk

4. Simplification of various design elements to optimize for electrophoresis

I hope T1 2.0 have a little more space for a watercooled radiator but W360 said its outer dimention will not be changed.

I'm not wahaha but the P1 has support for bigger rads while only being slightly larger. Maybe look into waiting for that (nobody knows when it will release, safe to assume it's not coming before v2.0) or consider another bigger case if bigger rads are really that important.

@textkiller, thank you for re-sharing the changes from the e-mail, but I intended to ask what changes were planned beyond that list, since @Wahaha360 was saying that he wouldn't chose V1.1 over V2.0. Maybe the better question: what features of V2.0 should make us consider cancelling a pending V1.1 order and wait for V2.0?

I would also like to know the answer to @catzooka's question, considering @Wahaha360 said, "there is no way I would personally choose V1.1 over V2.0, and I'm only half way done with the changes." The 2nd part of that quote is especially concerning if the V2.0 really is so close on the horizon given the updated timeline.

If we're happy with V1.1 part compatibility, don't want to use the vertical stand, and don't need 2.5/2.75-slot modes, what other V2.0 feature could make me resent the decision to keep my order after switching from gunmetal to titanium V1.1?

it's a 30mm thick rad with 30FPI, it should outperform the TX240 by a lot
Koolance HX-CU720V's 360mm version is HX-CU1020V which beats EX360 (whose 35mm is thicker than TX240's 20.5mm even though the fpi is 18 vs 22).

So, yes, it is quite safe to say HX-CU720V beats TX240 easily.
