Bought the case, been planning this build for a while.
Leaving options open for future upgrades... planning on making custom cables, possible custom loop.
Used for 1440p gaming. Mainly RTS/survival/Sim builds, occational fps.

Can you help with my thoughts/questions:

CPU - will upgrade in future. budget towards gpu for now. bottleneck seems to only be -5% when using 3300x with 5700xt
AIO - which will fit in the T1?
GPU - I will wait for 3070...
MB - ??
DDR4 - low profile
Storage - high performance for boot, then larger for library. Does the case fit 2.5"/3.5"? whats a resonable option for high capcity storage?
PSU - ??

I can't really comment on the other parts but you want a different PSU. The Seasonic is not a SFX but a SFX-L and will be too big.

140mm Artic Case fan would be too big for this case. 120mm is the largest diameter you can run. The thickest is 25mm on the PSU sude, 15mm above the motherboard.

Thanks for info, Fans were just in there as placeholders so I don't forget. I was tickled by someone who velcro'd a larger fan above their cpu block as extra 'vrm' cooling solution in the T1.

So with that AIO I can only fit 1x 15mm fan. The rad is 38mm thick. Any AIO recommendations for this case? or go air cooler until I do custom loop?

First on your current part list, the Gigabyte card is ~50mm thick which requires the T1 in 3 slot mode, which then makes the Liquid Freezer incompatible - block too tall, plus hoses coming out on top. I doubt it would even fit in 2 slot mode.

Second on your questions:
  • CPU: just wait for the R5 4000
  • AIO: EK 120/240 D-RGB, Corsair H100 XT, Alphacool LT240
  • MB: I think you're already set with the Gigabyte B550i, it's a really great board for the price
  • DDR4 - not sure about smaller brands, but only Corsair LPX is 33mm or lower since Crucial stopped making Ballistix Sport LT. Though you could still get the new design Ballistix (MAX), it's only 40mm and RGB if you want it
  • Storage: T1 fits 2.5", no 3.5". my build is dual M.2 so I don't need any SSD/HDD
  • PSU: Corsair SF600/750, FSP Dagger 600/650, Silverstone SFX 600/700 (upcoming)
Hope that helps!
