Power Supply Dual DC-DC PSUs?

I'm curious if it's possible to use two DC-DC power supplies for the same system (one for the GPU and one for the rest of the system for ex.).

I'm not absolutely settled on price yet as we won't know true production cost until we have a prototype made and the manufacturer knows exactly what is involved in production. I am having a custom 160W DC-DC developed to pair with it as well, so you may need to buy both units in tandem to use 24 pin ATX (top rated wattage of 460W in combo). I will likely also sell it independently of the 160W AC-DC unit for those that already have a compatible HDPlex, Pico or G-Unique Direct Plug unit. My goal right now is to have both units come in between 110-125 USD, but like I said this is merely an educated estimate of price and I will know more in a couple of weeks. You will obviously also need an AC-DC supply to go with it.
