Debating Between Case Options

Hi everyone!

I've been planning on building a pc for quite a while now, and after getting all the appropriate parts "together", I've been unable to decide on which would be a good/best itx case for me. My biggest concerns (along with everyone's, to be honest) are thermals and things actually fitting.

Here's my current build

CPU: Ryzen 3800x (majority of what I do is using sculpting/modelling tools, otherwise I'd probably opt for a 3700x or lower)
GPU: RTX 2080Super (highly dependent on the case, for the smaller cases I'd probably use reference card, for larger I'd go with the ASUS RTX 2080Super)
AIO: NZXT Kraken x52 rev2 OR Corsair H100i (is there a big difference in cooling performance between the two?)
SSD: 1tb NVME SSD
MEM: OLOY 2x16 DDR4 3200
PSU: Corsair SF600 80+ Platinum
Case Fans: Dependent on the case. But I'm looking at a combination 2x Noctua NF-F12 and 2xA14s (assuming I go for a Sliger SM580). Not sure if the smaller cases would be able to appropriate house the fans (maybe 2 of the 120mm Noctuas to replace the stock AIO fans on the radiator?)

As for cases I'm looking at:

Nouvolo Steck w/top hat - $180 USD
Sliger SM580 - $269 USD
*Ghost S1 clone w/top hat @ Taobao - ~$108 USD
*Formula x1 w/top hat @ Taobao - ~$247

*assuming there's no major difference between teh Ghost S1 clone and the Formula x1, I'd go with the cheaper of the two, which is the Ghost S1 clone, although I'm not sure if shipping would make it cost more than the Steck.

If there are any other suggestions (cases or parts), I'd really appreciate them!

Any particular reason your looking at the sm580 over 570? Extra gpu room? Only asking since you listed 240 aio’s!

I ran Noctua F12’s in my previous build, and the A12x25 will be cooler and quieter. Only negative is if you don’t love that noctua color. The F12 also makes a lot more noise when placed as an intake fan through a grill.

I don't think the price difference is that substantial, plus I think it has space for one more fan than the 570 iirc. And extra gpu space never hurt anyone before, right?

Noted! They're a tad more expensive, but I guess you can't put a price on silence.

Price difference is negligible, and extra space never hurts for making the build easier. The 580 shares the same 4 fan design as the 570, but the size allows for 140mm fans instead of 120mm. Putting a pair of 140’s on the bottom with a 240mm aio on the top certainly won’t hurt anything, and should be plenty of space to work with that way.

I could put a price on silence, but I’m afraid to see what I spent!

Just so I understand, the 580 can use 4x140mm fans (2 for rad and 2 for bottom of case) while 570 uses 2x120mm for rad and 140mm for case?

Or is it 2x120 mm rad fans and 2x140 mm case fans for 580 and 4x120mm rad and case fans for 570?

I feel like I'm talking much more about the 580 compared to the other two. Wonder if that means I've made a decision, haha!

4 x 140mm for the 580 and 4 x 120mm for the 570.

Thanks!

Since I'm really new to AIOs (I've only worked with air coolers), there would be 2x140mm fans for the rad and 2x140mm fans for the 580?

And back to spdfrek's suggestion of the A12x25, I'm guessing 4x140mm Noctua NF-A14 fans would get the job done as opposed to 2x140mm Noctua NF-A14 and 2x120mm Noctua NF-A12x25? This is assuming thta his suggeestion for the A12x25 was to replace the 120mm fans that I had suggested (the F12).
