I'm looking for an mATX tower case that's also good with space efficiency and isn't that large. Something industrial / utilitarian looking that could pass as a prebuilt or OEM system at a glance.

I dislike my current card reader dongle as well so I wish for a front panel drive bay that I can fill with a card reader panel. something like these hopefully it would help me functionally while adding to the office-y appearance of the machine:

Silverstone PS07 or TJ08? If you can sacrifice the card reader for a USB version, SG09 or SG10.

Cerberus? and a decent card reader, maybe something like this in its PCI bracket configuration.

EDIT: in SATA and not IDE, was the 1st one i could find a picture of but others do exist.
EDIT2: this is a more modern variation.

One possibility is I could sacrifice a little of the sleeper aesthetic for a "poor people" budget appeal with a cheap window:

For only 30 dollars this is a steal I think and I see some modding potential. One annoying thing might be the front drive cage thing that will block larger graphics cards. I could cut it out with my Dremel 4000 if I want to. I don't want to abandon the sleeper feel entirely though so I might only add a plain white LED to avoid making it look "gamer".

so one mod I would really like to do is add a carrying handle. Some ideas for that:

The biggest concern with this case is GPU cooling solution because it has no bottom vents. Modding my own vents might look bad. My Sapphire Nitro RX 460 has 2 fans and the fins are parallel down the length of the card which means the card's fans are going to be blowing air back at the front case fan which just sounds terrible. I could remove the card's shroud and fans for maximum breathing room and let the front case fan passively cool it like this:

I'd hate to have to give up such a nice card because it's got that 4GB of GDDR5 and that stuff hasn't been cheap lately and on a relatively low-power card too.

That Rosewill case is next-level diabolical.
In a good way or bad way do you mean? I could see there being a lot of catches with a case this cheap especially since it includes 2 fans installed.
Lenovo/IBM Thinkcentre mAtx make great sleeper chassis.
Those are pretty good I think too.

I wouldn't even try making it a "sleeper", but one mATX case idea that's growing on me is the BitFenix Prodigy M
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00T2WIRUC/?tag=theminutiae-20

I mean...
That's pretty damn compact for an mATX system thanks to the PSU location,
I don't even need to mod carrying handles,
I can use the legs to route and transport cables with the system.
It even has that front panel drive bay I was talking about.

Hardly a sleeper, but with some basic white LED and the right part choices I can make it look pretty damn professional and office oriented atleast.
