Recently I bought a chip--7812.The outputted voltage of transformer is 15V,then I used 7812 to stead the output after passing rectification. The current outputted continually 1A, the chip is so hot,I think there must be 80 degree centigrade. I don’t know if it can work continually.How can I solve it?
Can I add DCDC--MP1584 to enhance it ? I am not familiar with this industry.Can you help me have a look in the MP1584’s datasheet and give me some suggestions?
