Also, an external reservoir could be made to look nice I'm sure :) but sometimes you don't even need one...

Very true, a lot of the NCASE M1 users do that.

Provided it's aesthetically pleasing I tend not to score against the volume that an external reservoir adds :)

Wow guys/gals, thanks for all information! I will not go for the EK version either way, so that does not affect me.

Back to my problem: Which AiO cooler has the best tubes for this build? I`ve heard deepcool have god and flexible tubes, but someone mentioned here that they are some what long? Could someone suggest an AiO cooler for this build?

I`m surely going with a SFX, like the Corsair SF450.

I believe corsair has some of the more rigid tubes, I would try with whatever one that you want, they really perform more or less the same, the issue would be noise and how thick of a radiator are you willing to go.

One thing that you should be aware is that most of the designs are either from aesetek or derivatives from them. And thus they perform more or less the same, what makes them usually different is the thickness of the radiator, which impacts the size of the GPU that you can throw in there

Coolermaster has some 27mm radiators that work alright.

I looked a lot on different solutions now, and from what I saw in the build that Linus Tech did, it should not be a problem to fit either an H80i with 2 fans or an H75 with 2 fans. One thing that threw me off a bit was that you sad that the thickness of the radiator would impact how big GPU I could fit. But Linus Tech did a Titan X and an H80i with 1 fan and a ATX PSU.

I would have SFX PSU 100mm (not 160 like the ATX), GTX 1060 which is a lot smaller then Titan X. And from the video with Linus Tech, the GPU will slide in on the side of the radiator.

Am I thinking all wrong here? Please do tell me if I`m way off in my thinking. I do not have the case in my hands yet so I cant really tell from pictures and videos only.

You can't use the H80i with 2 fans. That's too thick. It also has some of the most rigid tubes out there.

Also the AIO doesn't interfere with the GPU at all, as long as it's a 120mm not 140mm one.

To thick for what? Will it bump into the motherboard?

No AIOs please.

Buy a kit like the EK one instead. :)

The EK one that was mentioned in this thread doesnt sell in my country. Not yet anyways.

And I`m perfectly clear of the disadvantages an AiO cooler has over kits like the EK and most often also the best air coolers. Only problem is that in this build, a good aircooler will not do the job because of extremely limited airflow.

The rad is 49mm thick... You have about ~80mm of space from the front panel to the motherboard.

Ah, good to know! I didnt know how much space I had from the motherboard to the front panel. I was just looking at the Linus Tech video and estimated.

Then it looks like the best choice is the Corsair H75 so far.
The Deepcool 120 may not be suitable because of the tube coming up from the cpu block, I really dont know how much space I got between the motherboard and PSU.

Around 75mm off the top of my head, when used with the PP08 bracket.

And the Deepcool is not suitable as I have previously mentioned.

The H75 rad is only 25mm thick, but comes with 2 nice fans.

The NZXT X31 has a nice 30mm thick rad, but comes with only 1 fan.

Sorry, yes you did mention that, I just forgot!

Hmm.. Looking at the NZXT X31, it looks really nice and have variable speed pump, but this does concern me:

Large tower support with extended 16” tubing and pre-installed Intel mounting for easy use.

Long tubes are not what I want in this case! :p

You just loop it around the pump. It's not bad really and pretty easy. The tubes are quite flexible.

I also have tried using a X31 on mine by the way.

Ah, nice info!

The Kraken comes with a lot of connections, like the Sata power and USB header for cam software. That may also hurt my build a bit. Or is this just stupid concerns?

Things like led lights and software, I really dont care. I want a simple AiO that works. Unless the software actually works and does a good job ;)
