Power Supply 7.4mmx5.0mm connector for DELL PA-9E

Hi all,

I've been looking around and I am having trouble finding a panel (through hole) mounted DC power connector that will accept the 7.4mmx5.0mm connector that is on the 240W dell PA-9E brick. Does such a thing exist?

Any help is appreciated!

I found the easiest way to find a matching jack for a laptop AC-DC brick is to search by the laptop model rather than the jack dimensions

Any suggestions? I was hoping for a solution like the barrel connector that comes with the pico 160 XT.

Protoboard and some bent aluminium would be my only guess. I cannot find a single panel mount jack compatible

Me either, checked eBay and Amazon. Might look into getting a more common panel mount jack and splicing on a new connector.

Sad, I was hoping for an easy fix lol. I will probably just splice a different connector in.
