Hey Guys,
This is the second time posting here on sffnetwork.
I wanted to share my project of watercooling a Fractal design node 202 with a dual 240 mm radiator loop.
Here is the parts list:
Case: node 202
Psu: corsair sf600 platinum
Cpu: ryzen 3700x
Gpu:1080ti
Mobo: Aorus x570 pro wifi...
Hello to SFF community :)
Recently I got bitten by the SFF bug, and since I would like to build a new system I'm thinking of going small. I really like vertical enclosures, but I have zero experience with SFF.
What I'd like to put inside:
CPU: i5 9600k or i7 9700k
MOBO: MSI MPG Z390I Gaming...
Need some advice over this build I'm planning. My current one is <https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ddrhhy>, but I'm in need of something more portable for travel (esp. international flights where there's a weight limit of 7kg on hand carry) which is beefy enough to do 3d compositing, rendering...
So excited for my first ITX build!
Alright, seems easy enough...
Hmmm, can't find an orientation where this thing will fit... Let me get out my old Intel stock cooler.
Hurray, it POSTs!
Initial cable management: So tight! Needs careful planning.
Saw people online removing the...
My CPU at stock settings runs at 85C when gaming, resulting me in undervolting the CPU to keep temperatures down.
Parts list:
* Case: Fractal Design Node 202
* CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700x 3.7GHz 8-Core Processor
* CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-L9a
* MOBO: ASRock - B450 Gaming-ITX/AC Mini ITX AM4

So I wanna make a small form factor build but I'm on a strict budget, around £600. I already Have a 980 ti to shove in there so I wanna use the £600 on EVERYTHING ELSE. The 980ti is by zotac and is a blower style cooler so there is some info if it is needed.
Anyway I wanna build in the node...
Built this to upgrade from a Sager laptop (I7-4700MQ, GTX770M). Main use cases are Lightroom and light gaming (mainly Fallout 4, Factorio etc.).
Now looking for a better cooler than the spire that still fits in the Node 202.
Parts list:

This is my config and I was looking for any recommendations on which cooler to go with. I do not plan to overclock at all. So everything below will be run at stock.
1. Stock spire wraith with the shroud removed
2. Noctua NH-L9a-AM4
3. C7

Hey All,
I've gone to an NCase M1 and so have no need for the Node 202 I started off in.
Location; Sydney, Australia
I can post Aus wide at your expense otherwise I am okay with a pickup, just PM me and we can work out a time/location.
Condition; Fair.
I had it mounted in a custom made...
Short story, my wife did not like my test stand PC setup and made me store it away when I wasn't using it. I stumbled on SFF builds shortly after and have been researching since. I wanted to keep as many of my original components as possible which landed me at the Node 202 for my case of choice...
Hi all!
Who needs more than 11L of space, puh.
So I built myself a watercooled Node 202 to upgrade from my laptop. I looked at a lot of peepz on the internet on how to do it, and kept the best ideas from all of them. First I made the hole between the two compartiments for the cables just big...
Ordered a hdplex to see if I could free up some space for a 120 rad for an aio liquid cooler for my ryzen 1600. Since it seems like if its possible an aio in the node or upcoming sentry would be great cooler if it can fit.
I received some two sided thermal tape to mount the hdplex, only to...
Howdy all.
For the new; So, I have an i7 6850k and a i7 7700k on the way. I could use suggestions on the smallest case for a mATX mobo that can do two large GPUs in a 2 way SLI configuration (such as the ASUS ROG series 1080 GPUs) while having adequate enough airflow to be quiet at load. I'd...
Hey guys, first post on the forum, been reading and browsing the forum for a few months now but never made an account cause I'm weird like that.
But I'm in desperate need of guidance..... I have a node 202 with custom made holes to fit a corsair H55 like Bitwit did in THIS video.
However the...
Hey there!
So i actually started a PC build, hadn't planned to do a build before Cerberus was out however it seemed like that could take some time.
The case I decided on was the Node 202 from Fractal Design with the bundled PSU because although quite large and the PSU rather loud it was good...
Howdy!
Well, I have the Node 202 version of my system built, but the GPU is hitting 83C when doing prolonged stress tests and throttling in my new STRIX 1080 when in manufacturer's OC mode and fans auto max at 50%.
I'm thinking getting a 120 mm fan or two in the GPU compartment would help...
So, after discovering my girlfriend quite liked the "aura" lighting feature on my new Asus Geforce 1070 STRIX card (and discovering that the SilverStone RVZ02B + SilverStone 700 watt SFX-L PSU were a no-go combo if I wanted to keep the case panels on), I'm trying to find a mini-ITX case that...
