MSI Announces New “SLIM” Series of GPUs That Are Still Quite Large for SFF

  MSI has shown its SLIM series of graphics cards. The announced cards include models of the GeForce RTX 4070Ti, RTX 4070, and RTX 4060Ti GPUs, and come in both stock and overclocked form. Additionally, the triple fan coolers are available in either white or black. All RTX 4070Ti models are 307 x 125 x 51 mm, and are rated for 285 watt TDP with a 16-pin connector. Noctua releases the slim 120mm NF-A12x15 fan

Noctua first showed off a prototype slim 120mm fan at Computex 2014, and at each Computex since they’ve shown off iterations of the design, but not this year. This year, Noctua has instead officially announced the fan, now designated the NF-A12x15 PWM and NF-A12x15 FLX (for the PWM and voltage-controlled variants respectively). Shuttle Announces SH170V XPS Slim

  Shuttle has announced the SH170V compact desktop. The new 3-litre Mini-PC barebone goes by the name of XPC slim XH170V and is based on Intel’s H170 chipset. “3-litre PCs have for a long time represented a really serious alternative to conventional PCs,” says Tom Seiffert, Head of Marketing & PR at Shuttle Computer Handels GmbH. “Increasingly, they are matching larger PCs in terms of processor, memory and drive support, and in many scenarios the improved integrated graphics function makes dedicated graphics cards obsolete.” Measuring 240(L) x 200(W) x 72(H) mm, the XH170V can be operated in various positions, either …
