I'm going to be doing some custom wiring in the coming weeks, are you still happy with the Polar Wire or would you suggest looking elsewhere?

It's actually way too bulky for my purposes. I believe the silicone based wires used in R/C racing are actually the best choice if you're looking for the flexibility that the polar has without the thickness of its insulation. Also (since I'm picky) the color on them has a decidedly pastel tint which isn't great if you're looking for that pop visually. I have a buddy who does semi-pro R/C racing I can ask for some recommendations if you'd like. Can you give me a better idea of what you're looking for?

It's for Jolokia, which will have the tan of the Noctua fans and the blue of the ASRock X99 ITX board, so a pretty color scheme is not important

So black wire, 18AWG, fairly flexible but not so much that I have to use copious amounts of zip-ties. Something like the SilverStone wires would be nice but in strand form instead of ribbon.

If you want the polar, I can ship you mine at a significant discount as I don't see myself using it anytime in the near future.
