The cooler has low mass and very few heat pipes, it simply isn't good enough for most overclocked CPU's
Depends on how far you're willing to go :3Thanks will it ever be possible to overclock with a low profile cooler ?

What processor do you want to cool?
Ouch, that's hot. You'd need something like hermes, maybe a thermalright full copper AXP would get you a light OC thoughi7 7700k

Probably already at nearly the limit of low profile coolers thenI tried that but switched to a Scythe SCBSK-2100 120mm Sleeve BIG Shuriken 2 Rev. B

Hahahaha. Well that is a 90+ watt chip. What is your definition of low profile? Sub 45mm wouldn’t do it but sub 60mm could with a bit of airflow.i7 7700k
The HSLP is smaller than the shurikenOk but then I saw this:

That big shuriken could handle a bit of oc if you delidded. I had one with a 6700k ( not delidded) at 4.5 in a silverstone rvz02. But I know kaby runs a bit warmer than sky lake. But yeah, at these sizes they can only handle so much heat. What case are you using?
Could you mount a 120x25mm fan to the shuriken? That would help quite a bit I’d imagine.
