Hello,

I'm interested in designing and building my own case. Hell, I'm open to making them for the masses especially with the current CaseLabs predicament. After looking through theses forums I'm curious to know what exact software people have used to do their initial design work? I've had previous experience many moons ago with some autoCAD software, but I'm curious to hear what people are using today.

Thanks!

I have the same idea. I found Fusion360 good, but i'm struggling with the mobo specifications.

Anyway, Fusion360 is fairly easy to use, i watched a 3 part tutorial and was able to do most of the case from it. Try it out.

SketchUp seems to be the most commonly used, but I've never tried it. I use OnShape. The online library has most of the computer parts you'll need.
