Hi guys,

I bought a used X570 ITX motherboard. Now I have some problems. The PC takes a long time to boot into Windows and the bios settings are always lost after a shutdown. Also when I turn off the power supply the bios time does not run anymore. My first thought was that I need to change the cmos battery, but I checked the battery with a multimeter and it shows 3V. Do you think the cmos chip is defective? Thanks for the help.

Did you check the CMOS battery with power to the system on or off?

I have been having the same issue. I swapped the battery and it did not fix it. Mine is inconsistent and works sometimes other times doesn't. If it stays plugged in with power to psu on it never drops. If i unplug it from the wall 90% of the time it drops. I have messed around with a LOT of power supplys on mine so I've assumed it was me screwing around with dozens of psu's causing the problem. Only other issue i have has with the card is wifi antennae coming unseated from the card.
