I know the official clearance for GPU length is 190mm. Inno3D just released the RTX 2070 Twin X2 which is 196mm long. I wonder if this GPU would still fit?
I just checked, and there is 193.2mm average distance. I have not seen any detailed pics of the gpu yet, but maybe there is a bit of plastic that can be trimmed off the end of the gpu. Have to wait for more pics I guess to see.
Maybe built-in room for 215mm GPU?
I think that would be a good move @firewolfy, make it compatible with the Zotac minis.
I personally think that moving to support longer GPU will bring the case to Dan A4 area. There's obvious benefit in supporting longer GPU but there will be sacrifice in volume as well as more competition.
Yeah, increasing the volume may put it into the A4, Ghost, Lazer realm. But a lot of us want to run high-end hardware, and the case won't fit the 20-series GPUs. If they come out in mini sizes less than 190mm (I'm looking at you Gigabyte), then the case would be sweet just as it is.

196mm long, but i wonder how much of it is shroud
Increasing the chassis by one inch in depth should give the volume needed to fit any of the 212mm Zotac Mini GPUs (1060 / 1070 / 1080 / 1080 Ti) & the new 196mm RTX 2070... And I would bet the Zotac Mini RTX 2080 & RTX 2080 Ti might come in at 212mm as well...?
Increasing by 1" should yield a 215mm+ long envelope for the GPU...?
And I REALLY do not think any would see this as competition for the A4 / Ghost / etc. style chassis, as it will still be unable to fit full length GPUs...
Such a minor chassis stretch may also allow fitting a Noctua NF-A12x15 PWM fan in the bottom; more air in, cooler components...!
Honestly, if you decide to revise to fit the Zotac Mini series of GPUs, increasing the height ever so slightly would also allow fitting a matching NF-A12x15 fan up top as exhaust, without needing to add a Loft (and the attending seams/lines in the outer housing that take away from the casual elegance of the chassis)...
Bumping the depth by 25mm or so & the height by 15mm or so should keep it right around 8 liters, maybe just a smidge over...
