i am planning of buy X570 Phantom Gaming-ITX/TB3 around blackfriedy but this motherboard has strange choices in it design

1- no front type c on premium board in 2019!
2- thunderbolt 3 and m.2 both go through the chipset even though there is a detected nvme lanes in the cpu !!! (at least according to this photo

i can understand a single m.2 slots since there is thunderbolt 3 port (main selling point for me) but being both on the same x4 lanes i dont understand ?

this is really frustrating for high end mini itx board

what if i want to use both of them at full speed bottleneck is a sure thing

Unlikely if you are using PCIE3.0 SSDs, as the connection between chipset and the CPU is theoretically equal to the bandwidth of PCIe 3.0 x8

i already bought pcie 4 ssd corsair 1tb isnt bad priced
also i believe as time goes by these ssd will saturate the 4 lane of gen 4 or come close to it
