Nice setup!
As usual with a watercooling loop that cools both gpu and cpu, cpu temperature is not great (I got 82°c max on aux torture test on my overclocked r7 3800x with 92mm radiator) as gpu is loading a lot of heat in it.

I’m please to see a lot of customed watercooling on Sm series..:)

my 3700x is not OC it’s running stock while stress testing. But before im getting over 70c with corsair 240mm rgb platinum while playing so this is still better than that.

also the max voltage is 1.4+

i will try to overclock my processor any recommendations?

It’s highly dependant to silicon lottery and your workload.:D

Here are results of "the binning company" on AVX2 instructions.

Personnally I'm testing stability and cooling using Intel Burn Test 2.54 (very high, 2 consecutive successful runs). Please note it's using Linpack benchmark (AVX).

I tried using intel Burn Test with Very High & 2 Runs settings my highest temp is 77.4C @ Stock and 82.8C PBO ON.

can anyone confirm hardwarelabs nemesis gts 280 fits into the sm580?

specs say: Maximum 328mm x 150mm x 72mm
nemesis has 312m x 153mm

so 3mm kill me?

It 100% does not fit. This was discussed a bunch in the thread earlier. It's too wide.

However, if you like HWLabs you have two options: The HWLabs L-Series Stealth radiator which you can get from PerformancePCs, which is the same rad but shrunk down to be more compatible with more cases, or the Corsair Hydro X XR5 280mm radiator which is OEM'd from HWLabs and is exactly 140mm wide.

L series is not the same rad as gts. Its performance is much worse. Nevertheless, its still the best performing rad in sm580 out of the box. The best is Alphacool xt45, but case needs modding for it to fit.

Per the description from HWLabs:
The Black Ice® NEMESIS® LS is a more compact version of the Black Ice® NEMESIS® GTS® radiators with a 120mm/140mm width maintaining comparable performance and sharing the same build quality with their flagship Black Ice® counterparts.

The Series L shares the same DNA with the industry standard Black Ice® NEMESIS® GT® GTS® and GTX® radiators and is built for (not with) system builders and equipment integrators who demand utmost reliability and value.

True to form, built-in Supercruise™ optimizations, give the Series L radiators provide true scalable performance to allow optimum performance in a wide range of fan speeds. All built with the same renowned Black Ice quality by Hardware Labs.

Sure it doesn't perform identically to the GTS because it's smaller, but it's the same core design. Do you have testing you can reference to show the delta in performance? According to HWLabs' spec sheet it's a delta of 700W vs 800W max heat dissipation - but of course those numbers are theoretical, so I don't expect a rad to handle 700W of heat but as a comparison it should be valid.

@srekal34 what kind of modding? So best 280mm Rad would be oem version which is shrinked?

atm I have built in the gts240. Only issue seems for me much higher chipset temps due the double exhaust mode does not perform as well as with 140mm due the distance is higher to the sidepanel

@ermac318
Best comparison I have is test of 360 gts compared to Bitspower Leviathan(which is hwlabs ls360 oem). Gts is among the best, LS among the worst performers:

@mweis
Tou have to file side panel holders a bit in order for it to fit. Not a big deal and still fully functional

@srekal34 that's very disappointing, thanks for providing the data. I wonder if this is a unique problem to the 360; In that same chart, they show the XFlow version of the HWLabs 360 as really poor, but ExtremeRigs' review of the 280 XFlow is pretty positive.

Regardless, would you agree it's probably the best rad for the SM580? At least in the 30mm slim rad category...

The graph posted is at 750rpm. The 280 xflow is 167 watts push only at 750rpm. In my opinion, the low fan speed numbers are not as useful for small form factor loops. Because radiator space is severely limited, you can't afford to run fans that slow. I run mine at 1200 - 1500 rpm. High quality fans like noctua will be comparable noise to other fans sub 1000 rpm.

Well when I build in another case I may buy another 280GTS then, since the performance looks so much better...

i run my 120mm fans @ 700 rpm on idle low load and my 140mm fans @ 500 rpm temps are decent, only the looks and the double exhaust is not so fine.
