My SM570 air cooled build with two vented side panel's, I'm just waiting for a shorter custom PSU cable to help declutter the cables, added two NF-S12A PWM chromax for bottom intake with adjusted fan curve so totally silent. Build spec's RYZEN 5 3600 with a Noctua NH-L9A , MSI B450I Gaming PLUS AC, 16GB HyperX Predator DDR4 RGB, Sapphire Radeon Pulse RX 580 , Corsair SF Series 600 SFX PSU . Idle temps of around 44c cpu and 37c system, gaming temps of 50c so totally satisfied for my needs with the case.

After taking the suggestions of a couple users in the SFFPC subreddit, I decided to address my cable management. Most importantly, the AIO cable arrangement being moved BEHIND the PSU bracket.

Needless to say, I’m thoroughly satisfied for the time being (while I wait for my custom-length cables).

Here are my pictures. For some reason, I couldn't link them directly from Imgur.

Is it wise to put some fan grills if you set both bottom fans as intake? I'm still waiting for some parts for my build but I will use the same SF600 Platinum PSU and wasn't sure if the stock cables will interfere with the fan blades or not. The fans that I will be using for bottom fan intake will be the stock fans included with a Corsair H100i Platinum AIO cooler.

Fan grills are cheap enough to have on hand, I think, just in case they do interfere. You should be able to avoid them interfering, but it may come down to how you handle cable management.

After reading all the rave reviews on these cases and hearing about various issues with Louqe, I've stopped waiting for the Ghost MK 3 and pulled the trigger on an SM550 for my first SFFPC build! (White, Vented/Vented)

I'd really appreciate if someone could sanity check this build for me before I buy anything else, I've only picked up the case and the Asetek cooler so far.

The main use for the PC will be gaming (including some VR), with the hope that it'll last a good 4-5 years.

Any comments, critiques, or advice would be highly appreciated!

I agree. Do you have a specific one in mind though? I'm not sure if you were the one who used them in your build. Can you put a fan grill on the exhaust side of a fan though (seeing that they already have like a plastic semi-fan grill there)?

Ksliger,

Great work on the 570 and 580. I've been lurking here and will be interested in the SM560 in the future. I like the side panel designs from the 570, 580 without the notch on top so that it sits flush with the top panel. Do you have any plans to offer that type of panel on the 560s?

I'm quite fortunate that the custom cables I'm using which were from my Ncase M1 don't intefere with the two bottom fans. Only problem is the PSU cable is too stiff and long so getting a custom shortened 12 cm one which means it won't be near the fans. I do have fan grills from another build but currently don't need too fit them.

If you are going with the Ti card, I would go with the SF750 not the SF600.
I had issues with a 600. It would randomly shut off when my system was pushed hard..
I know some will say it's plenty of power but it's not the one I would buy.

Thank you! Do not think I will ever change the 550/560 design as controversial as it is. If you like the more minimalist design you might be into the SV540 or SV510 I have coming soon?

@KSliger I just want to say, your customer service is awesome. Calling and getting a real human is hard to beat. I called a few times and everyone I talked to was kind and helpful, it was fantastic. I've got my 560 waiting to be built in and I can't wait!

Thank you! Let us know if anything comes up during build - people here are also super helpful!

Same as others, I would recommend the SF750 for that 2080TI. ASETEK 92mm might be overkill, but will let you upgrade CPUs in the future. Other than that all looks good!

@KSliger Any chance on getting a UK or Europe Distributor? Interested in either SM580 or 570!

They are very reasonably priced but when they will potentially get slapped with custom charges it becomes a bit less attractive.

Thanks for the advice, will bump that up to an SF750 for sure. Glad to have peace of mind that there are no other glaring mistakes there!
