Not quite.
Some of them (eg SX700-PT, SX700-G, SX800-LTI mentioned above) carry 5-year warranty. Though not as good as typical 7-year warranty (eg Corsair SF600, SF750), the 2-year difference, IMHO, should not be a deal maker/breaker. Other more important or practical factors come into play.

I would consider this power supply, but I got to say I don't much care for the cables. I know the SF750 is sold out everywhere except for people scalping it like on Amazon $309. It's a shame really. the SF750 is just a better value at $184. If Silverstone upd their cable came I'd buy one. I've heard Silverstone makes good Power Supplies.

the only PSU I would even consider as an 'upgrade' over my SF750 is the new 1000W SFX-L Platinum

My bad, the site I use for finding components in europe still has those listed as 3 years.

I do think it matters since, looking at user reviews, either their(or rather their OEM's) QA and/or build quality isn't quite as good as their competitors.

Aside from that, they still aren't that competitive with the SFX/SFX-L units from Corsair and Seasonic(incl rebrands).
