Log Silly Question on Velka 3 Riser

Hi Everyone, I'll expose my total ineptitude in figuring this one out. I can't figure out an orientation of the PCI riser cable in the Velka 3 that doesn't cover the CPU fan. What am I doing wrong? Pictures here

Edit: If I go underneath I'd need to bend and probably break the riser.

Edit 2: I got it to bend and work, but boy...those tolerances aren't forgiving. First build in probably 25 years. Last one was a Pentium 166. I probably should have gone an easier route, but I got it working and it posts.

Thanks for the help. The riser included with the case was a gen 4, and I had to really be careful when installing to not break any of the connections. I didn't have a single mm to spare at the end
