I updated the BIOS in September, when I built my computer. Chosen a b550-i in case I choose to get a new cpu later (right now, I have a 3300x).
Since then, a new version came out in December. Updateing the BIOS is something I red in a lot of platforms as a recommended thing to do for a lot of reasons, but mostly if something was not working properly. So what do you think?

I update my BIOS relatively often regardless of a problem, and I don't see it as a big deal to update more often if you want.

But if you are worried about it and it's working fine, and you decide to pickup a Zen3 CPU in the future, just update and test it out right before you get the new CPU or are ready to put it in the system. Just confirm the BIOS is at least AMD AM4 AGESA V2 PI 1.1.0.0 PatchB for the Zen3.
