With a 3 hour loop of valley with xmp and mce enabled holding the cpu to 3.8-3.9ghz the highest core peaked at 72c and gpu never got over 65c. I think I’ll just run it, this was using the asus turbo fan profile but the thing is barely audible at all

@fpark12 make sure you have a power solution that has a -12V rail. @confusis noted that the board will not power up with that power rail missing. @iFreilicht mentioned in his FlexATX thread that there are some work-arounds by jumping -12V to ground or wiring up a custom -12V circuit, but whether you want to experiment with a $400 motherboard and $$$ processor is another question...

Can you tell me what the dimensions for that case are? I have not found any official specs on the NFC site...

From my personally experience raiding last night in wow. The I5 8400 with mce and bclck100 will overwhelm the hdplex160. And it may have been the 235watt brick instead. However disabling mce alone was enough to curtail the hard shut down.

I was reading that the HDPLEX 160W peaks at ~200W, and pcpartpicker says peak output for this partlist (Ryzen 5 1400 and LP GTX 1050 Ti) is 201W. I was planning on doing a brickless build with an HDPLEX DC-ATX and AC-DC brick internally using the space created from a low profile GPU, but I was worried about the power consumption. Is 160W not enough? Should I just go for the 400W for upgradability?
