no extra customs fees or taxes will be charged, based on its value.

and i can purchase it with paypal, which has buyer protection.

@REVOCCASES ,i previously returned a DarkForest power unit to AliExpress, so i have a store credit.


obviously, you said its not worth it to spend $125 in real cash, for this imitation DPS-500AB,

but if my system is around 300W, because GPU is a 1650 Super, would you advise me to use my AliExpress store credit on it ?? is the imitation DPS-500AB at least 300W of power ??

This is a 400w PSU from the same company that Revo just reviewed here.

It might not be a bad option, but maybe @REVOCCASES has a better recommendation.

.... it's a lot cheaper than that on my end. $93.10 with free standard shipping to the US. Where do you live?

I WOULD NOT spend more than $150 out of pocket for a FLEX PSU from AliExpress. At that point, just get this from Velka or one moded by Geek.

As I said, same company, different unit.

With only a 300w load, you don't really need that 700w unit. If you follow the link, they do provide some photos of the internals. What Revo purchased matched what they sold, so at least the company is selling what is photographed.

If you want to buy something good and cheap, personally I would get a modded server PSU with Platinum rating.

YTC is a good seller with reputation and they offer different versions.

The non-modular DPS500 only costs 45,- USD and I guess if you use Superbuy you could get it for USD 70,- to 80,- total shipped to the US.

of course, these are second hand units, you don't have "buyer protection" and if something goes wrong you cannot return it. Anyway, I only had good experience with YTC so far.
