Hi everyone,

for those that saw my other post, my current pc is in my project sophia case, which is now a year old and falling to pieces, So i'll be moving my whole system to my second case, project kairos and I'm dealing now with some difficulties.

I'll be using a lot of old parts, I'll probably only buy a new cpu cooler and maybe a new hard drive.
I'll use here more as a building log and test on my mdf pc case.

so, now i need help with cpu cooler clearence.

My cpu is a i7-4690 non k

I dont game at all but I do a lot of cpu rendering and cad workload, so I need good cooling for 100% cpu utilization (like, 100% for 2 hours or more)

the intake will be a 140mm fan. I'll also have 2 hdd and an ssd. My gpu is a 6770hd, it doesn get much use.

I dont have many options (both by availability and space) on what to do and here are my ideas :

noctua L9i fits perfectly, but I dont know if it can handle my cpu??
same with cryorig c7. anyone know how it handles 100% load??

noctua NH L9x65 cooler, very tight
This leaves about 2mm clearence, which wont do so I'd have to use my psu as exaust :(

any 120mm rad

240mm rad up to 275mm length max (thats kinda ridiculous but might work?)

I'm not sure what's my best option :/

edit:
my motherboard is a slim micro atx (213mm width) so it fits. the dark gray part of motherboard is what is left in the micro atx form factor.
