M1: Which Top Down Cooler + 3.5 HDD?

Hi all,

I had planned on getting a Noctua U9S. But now the V6 case arrived, and it seems you can install the HDD cage extra close to the front, so that it reaches not further into case than the power supply. I know Noctua 14S will be too long for that but was anyone here successful with the Dark Rock TF ? I saw the imgur posts of the guy struggling to mount it, might fit alighed vertically, no high profile ram, everything depending on mobo layout.

I believe the Scythe Kabuto 3 will work, if you can find one.

IIRC the main problem with the Dark Rock TF is limited motherboard compatibility, and not with the case itself.

It is replaced by the Choten btw. The one available in America is "tuf" version with yellow accents and rgb. Other locations you can get regular gray version.

It is pretty nice. Got one myself
