Hello all!
Welcome to my high end LZ7 build log!
This will be my first complete build of a system, but I've upgraded prebuilts in the past. This will be my personal gaming/web browsing computer.
Lets start with the parts list.
Parts:
Intel Core i7 6700k $299.99@Newegg
Scythe Big Shuriken 2 rev. B Cpu Cooler $37.95@Newegg
Asrock Fatal1ty Z170 Gaming-ITX/ac $144.99@Newegg
Corsair Vengeance LPX White 2x16GB 2666 Cas Latency 16 $175.99@Newegg
Gigabyte 1070 Mini-ITX OC $389.99@Newegg
Plextor M8Pe 1TB NVMe SSD With Heatsink $429.99@Newegg
Corsair SF450 Power Supply $89.99@Amazon
Prolimatech Ultra Sleek Vortex 14 Fan $19.99@Newegg
And the star of the show a white with red accents Lazer3D LZ7 case!

The parts from Newegg are scheduled to arrive Wednesday, the SF450 is scheduled to arrive Thursday, and @K88D says the LZ7 will likely ship the second week of December.
It's going to be a long couple of weeks waiting for the LZ7 and I'm super excited for it and this build log.
I'll update on Wednesday(hopefully) when the parts come in.

That is going to be a nice little high end build indeed, I would also like to know how you get on with the 6700k with the Big Shuriken 2.

I can't wait to see it come together!

I'll be following this one The first builds of a new succesfull project, exciting times !

I'm not yet sure what I'll be installing in my LZ7, I was hoping for Zen but that's for Q1 2017. But it'll most likely be my ASrock Z87E-ITX and Intel Pentium G3258 CPU. GPU-wise, I'm not sure, since it'll be my LAN-party rig going forward and I don't need a GTX 1070 for old games and 1080p. Since I've gotten two Prolimatech USV14 fans I'm looking for a GPU with a flat heatsink that would fit with one of the fans mounted.

Thank both of you for the support!
And @Phuncz the Gigabyte 1060 ITX could be a good candidate because its fan uses a standard PWM connection.

Update time!
Everything has arrived except the Big Shuriken and SF450. The Big Shuriken is supposed to arrive on Friday and I don't know when the SF450 will arrive. I will add pictures later, I didn't have time today.

Nice parts list! I'm waiting on Kaby Lake to release for my LZ7 build. The parts I'll be putting in mine are almost the same as yours.

I've already got a Scythe Big Shuriken 2 rev. B, Cryorig XT140 fan, and a Crucial MX300 750GB SSD (which I snagged for $99 daily deal) on the way from Amazon. I'm likely going to buy the Gigabyte GTX 1070 ITX, a Corsair SF600 PSU, and 2 x 8GB Corsair LPX DDR4 3200MHz memory a week or two after the LZ7 starts shipping.

Ok I need help. Since my laptop has an m.2 ssd I tried to use it in this build, so I could try out some games. When I booted up Windows from the drive it ran fine for about 15 minutes, then I stopped getting a video output from the 1070. So to make sure it was the 1070 I removed it and used integrated graphics for display, then I 15 minutes later, while web browsing, everything slows down horrendously. Any mouse movements take 5 seconds to register, so I restart and the motherboard doesn't detect the drive as bootable. At that point I'm a little freaked out about my drive, so I restart one more time, with the 1070 reinstalled, and again it boots up. 15 minutes later no more video output and the drive isn't detected. I finally put the ssd back in my laptop and magically everything is fine. Now I have no idea what is wrong and am wondering what could be the problem.

P.s. I RMA'd the Plextor drive and am going to try and get a 960 Evo.
