I haven't seen anyone mention this, but it's only DP 1.2. Doesn't that mean it can't use g-sync? I'm not sure of other limitations, but that is kind of a drawback :/

it has to be a taipo because the 1050ti cames whit DP 1.3 out of the box...
maybe its because the number of ports that it is only supported if only one is plugged in
the Quadro P1000 is a 1050 with enabled DP 1.4 support
Idk, I read everything I could find on the site and saw 1.2 multiple times with no mention of 1.4 anywhere.
Just an FYI, the single slot low profile card by ASL can be found at GearBest with free shipping to the US. Its model name is G1504 (the non-Ti version is called G1502).

Don't have your hopes too high, so far every 20?0 card required more power than their similarly numbered predecessor. And yes, they are also faster but the previous generations have seen this shift as well, for example 670-760-950 are very similar in performance while power didn't increase and with the 950 it actually decreased. I think the 2050 will be like the 950 was at 90W or so. Perhaps the 2030 could be a single slot low profile and be as fast as the 1050 or if we get super lucky then the 1050 Ti. But we won't see progress.
The AMD RX 3060 is rumored to be a GTX 2050/GTX 1060 competitor at 75W but as we have seen with the 1050 Ti, manufacturers were not so hot on building a single slot low profile cooler for 75W cards. You'd actually need to see a significant power drop to see more of that.
