First SFF build, I'm really excited about finishing this soon.
I only built my first computer a little less than a year ago. Roughly two months ago, I began researching portable computers and came across this forum. Afterwards, I decided to move my existing build into a smaller case. At first the idea was to design my own case, but with limited experience that idea quickly flew out the window.
The MC600 is the perfect size case for me and has been used by several people on this forum. While the minimalist design is what initially attracted me to this case, I noticed there were several complaints about the lack of ventilation, potentially leading to high component temperatures. I decided to add a perforated panel to the case to try and combat this. I'm not sure how problematic this is, hopefully not at all. The front bezel will include three 40mm fans mounted on it to draw in some cool air. As far as modifying the case goes, all that is left is to cut a smaller perforated panel on the backside for the GPU. I'm waiting on the power supply to be delivered, so I can test everything.
Its not the most high end build, but seeing as this is more of a workstation for me than a gaming build it works just fine. I'll be sure to update as I move forward with this project.
Parts List:
I7 6700k CPU
Zotac GTX 1060 6GB
ASRock H110M-ITX Motherboard
Noctua NH-L9I
