So I just bought an Inwin CS 700 which is apparently the same psu as the SX700-g from silverstone (Same oem: Powerman). Because some of the cables were missing from the CS 700 i was able to purchase it for a very cheap price. And one of the cables missing is a SATA power cable, and I have a SATA boot drive.
However silverstone sells short cables that are compatable with the SX700-g, which I am hoping would also work on the Inwin CS 700.
Any thoughts on why this might be a bad idea? Same OEM, must be the same PSU, what could possibly go wrong?
