Some guy on /r/pcmasterrace (who indirectly claims to be a fry's electronics employee) leaked this picture.

$30 cheaper than a i7-6800K on amazon right now. Hmm...

Saw this on reddit:

The reps on last MSI stream said that AMD themselves wanted motherboard makers to delay X300 launch. I haven't seen the video myself but there was a comment with excerpt of the video.

I don't know if it's true, but it would explain why we're getting so little info on mITX boards and absolutely 0 pictures so far...

Interesting if true. I wonder what the reasoning would be?

Well x300 chipset is not mandatory for mini itx as first mini itx am4 board was based on x370...ok we saw no picture..:)

I was going to pre-order, then I noticed, I can't find many Mini-ITX motherboards that are launching today, alongside Ryzen.

I guess I'll buy the chip and hold my breath for the mITX board. Any idea when the R5 and R3 chips will release? I'm looking to get the R5 1400x.

On another note: I wonder if Asrock or any others are planning an AM4 based mSTX board? That would top my 2017 Christmas list!

Is the 1700 PRO coming out too or just the 1700?

Waiting for these three things to converge. When this happens I'll upgrade.
Ryzen 1700 Pro + AM4 ITX board + VLP DDR4
Maybe in 2017?

I'm growing more interested in integrated graphics without the need of a dedicated GPU, so holding out on this Ryzen line for Raven Ridge. Hopefully the new APUs would perform at least as well as a RX 470.

Nevertheless, I'll give my support to Team Red by getting a A10 APU.

I'm going the same route as I don't need a dedicated GPU. I'll buy an ITX board when they're available and, if that happens before Raven Ridge is released, a Bristol Ridge APU to get by until RR comes out. Seeing AAA titles running at 30fps in 1080p with an A12-9800 APU makes me confident Raven Ridge will be way more than enough for my needs.

Smaller mATX boards have already been shown months ago, though those are usually the low-end boards that only exist in that form factor because it reduces the total build price for OEMs. The true mITX boards are still very much absent.
