Step 1 - Maybe stop TRYNA fix it - It may not be your problem - It may be a hardware problem!
Step 2 - Type Ctrl-Alt-Delete and Select Task Manager
Step 3 - Click the Performance icon in Left Pane of Task Manager
Step 4 - Do whatever you usually do to cause a Black-Screen-Freeze event
Step 5 - After the Black-Screen-Freeze event is over Check GPU 0 (mine was pegged at 100% during the event)
Step 6 - Voila - That's it! Capture the Task Manager window using your Windows snipping tool

Show this evidence to AMD and in my case, they immediately started an RMA. After (free) Fedex travel time to-and-from Florida, I received a new Ryzen 7 8700G. The new replacement CPU does not freeze!
  • in image below - Note the Performance icon selected (3rd icon down in the left pane)
  • in image below - Note the (GPU 0) pegged at 100% during the Black-Screen-Freeze event
YMMV because there could be other issues. Though, consider testing for this hardware replacement evidence. It made my Day/Week/Month! Also be aware that senior level technical support may not be inclined to lead you to this test showing a GPU fault!!!

I actually remember GN reporting some particular bugs specifically with the 8700G (the 8700G being treated as a mobile instead a desktop CPU). Might been related, might been just normal hardware failure, might be both? :)
