Help regarding hdplex 300w acdc to stx and 160 unit

I'm messin around with the idea of splicing the end of the now discontinued hdplex 300w acdc unit to feed 19v to both an stx mobo via barrell connector and to hdplex 160 unit. I know that aibo did something similar for his stx 160 build but I was wondering if there was a guide/tutorial out there for this.

Hey,

I believe he just soldered up a 4-pin Mini Fit Jr to barrel plug connector, but had a splitter to power the 160. He used the 160 for GPU power, but I believe he did have to do something with sync on the HDPlex in order for it to power the GPU. The best guide is the STX.160 thread. It shouldn't be too hard.
