To be fair, they act like Anish Kapoor secured the license for himself just so he could screw every other artist in the world.

Well if he didn't want to, he'd just have licensed it, not gotten an exclusive license, right? Or did somebody mess up the words and he actually got a license exclusively for artistic application? Wouldn't surprise me either.

I don't think anyone knows for sure, but I suspect Surrey NanoSystems also had a say in the "exclusive" part since they probably don't want to deal with a bunch of different artists.
