So, I just jumped back into Folding@Home - my server had many, many spare CPU cycles! I consider F@H to be the anti-mining, and it works towards some goals that are pretty close to home for me.

I would join in, if Belgium didn't have Europe's highest electricity prices and we're on the verge of an electricity shortage in the coming months. Otherwise I'd have nice room heaters with those overclocked Intels.

not sure if I'm biased on my observations, but premiere feels like it works better with something keeping CPU busy in normally-idle times for some reason o_o

(anyway I think I'll only run it while my PC's on at this stage. and maybe when I'm away for short periods)
