Looking for the ULTIMATE and SMALLEST build I can complete in this A4-SFX that's coming out here at the end of April, shipping early May. Super excited and have been eyeing this case for a while now!

If you had UNLIMITED MONEY and wanted to build your dream gaming PC, what would you select to put in the case?

Here's my build (and want YOUR feedback on parts and what I'm missing):
2080ti
https://m.newegg.com/products/9SIAAZU8SX5634

9700k
https://m.newegg.com/products/N82E16819117958

ASRock Z390 PHANTOM GAMING-ITX/AC Motherboard
https://m.newegg.com/products/N82E16813157854

32gb ram:

No noctua heatsink makes me sad, but I hear this one is good (BUT WHERE DO I BUY IT?!?!):

Thermal grease:

Here's some (unreasonable :p) upgrades to that list:

CPU: 9900K (Setup Long Power Duration Limit to 95W)
Cooler: Asetek 645LT + Noctua NF-A9x14 PWM
PSU: Corsair SF750 + CableMod Custom Length PSU cables

That cooler looks to only be $99. Not bad. It fits in the Dan case? Looks awesome!

$70 for a platinum over a gold PSU. Sold.

9900K is actually on sale right now at NewEgg, so again, sold.

For the ram, I would go for 3200mhz instead of 3000mhz with 10$ more.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B016ORTNI2/?tag=theminutiae-20

For the CPU cooler, u can grab an Asetek 645LT bundles ( including Noctua NF-A9x14 PWM Fan, Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut High Performance Thermal Paste - 1g, screws and Asetek Retention Kit) for only £69.16 ~ 89.88$ with £19.28 ~ 25.06$ shipping fee, which total 114.94$ on OverclockersUK.
https://www.overclockers.co.uk/ocuk...-liquid-cooling-upgrade-bundle-bu-0d4-tl.html

Got mine within 2 days.

Also, get one more Noctua NF-A9x14 PWM Fan for under the motherboard.

Order custom sleeve cables on Pslatecustoms, for precise measurement and the aesthetic look on ur pc.
https://www.pslatecustoms.com/

Phil will open pre-ordering on April 30 or May 1.
Cheers.

$10 more on the RAM but the timings and CAS latency look worse for some reason. Seems odd for 3200mhz vs 3000mhz RAM.

Grabbing that cooler bundle before it sells out! I'm SUPER impressed it comes with the thermal grease I want AND a Noctua fan! Awesome! That cooler was an excellent suggestion by a couple people now. Happy to have liquid cooling once again in my system.

Custom cables look awesome. Thanks! What is the length of the PSU cable? 300mm? What other cables should I grab? I see a LOT of options.

Actually, you don't need to measure the length of the cables because they already did that for you. During the process to order and pick a color to configure, just let them know what power supply model, motherboard model and the graphics card that you have. *Let them know if you use the Asetek AIO CPU cooler.

There are sections under "Custom Sleeved Cables," go for the case that you have.
Dan A4-SFX: https://www.pslatecustoms.com/collections/dan-a4-sfx

Based on your parts list.
1x 24 Pin Paracord Custom Sleeved Cable
1x 8/4+4 Pin CPU/EPS Paracord Custom Sleeved Cable
2x 8/6+2 Pin PCI-E pARACORD Custom Sleeved Cable
Since you go with NVMe Samsung Plus+ 970 no need for the SATA cable.

Subscribe to the email notification to know when the store is open. I suggest selecting your custom color of choice now, and order right after it open to avoid being charged extra for high demand fee, since lots of people order them.

Hope this help.

This forum has been SUPER helpful! Appreciate everyone!

Last question, as I'm nearing the purchasing mark (I've only bought the CPU cooler combo from Overclockers UK so far).

Looks like I need to buy a blower fan-type 2080Ti as this case is so small (which is AWESOME) that the heat must be ejected out the back.

I'm leaning towards the Gigabyte card, but CANNOT find the Aorus version ANYWHERE:
https://www.gigabyte.com/us/Graphics-Card/GV-N208TAORUS-T-11GC#kf

All I find is this one:
https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIAAZU97J2650

Anyone recommend a blower card for a Dan case? Or...better question...which 2080Ti would you recommend for the Dan A4-SFX case?

The Aourus I had was super noisy! Way more than the reference Nvidia 10x0 series blower type

Maybe try the Asus!

The ASUS turbo is stupid loud as well. It’s what I have. I’m pretty sure all these blower styles are all loud. Stock fan curve is terrible basically throttles down but I set the fan to 60% which is still extremely loud but keeps temps at 75 degrees even when overclocked.

Dang. I was NOT hoping for a loud system. With a water cooler in there and Noctua fans...I expect silence.

Is there a listing of 2080Ti cards that FIT in the Dan A4-SFX?

I see on the Dan A4-SFX site, it states:
"Rear exhaust cards are recommended.

Maximum card length: 306mm (including the PCI bracket); 295mm (discluding the PCI bracket)
Maximum card width: 45mm (including a backplate); 40mm (discluding a backplate)
Maximum card height: 144mm (as measured from the bottom of the PCI slot)"

I looked here...and sorted by SIZE on the bottom table (and understood "rear exhaust cards" to mean "blower" models):
https://thepcenthusiast.com/geforce-rtx-2080-ti-compared-best-rtx-2080-ti/

SUPER tempted just to get a dual-fan EVGA model (had luck with that brand so far and run a 1080Ti currently) that is 2 slot and appears to fit, based on the site specs:

I suggest go for RTX 2080 or RTX 2070 if you want a silent system. Most of a dual slot RTX 2080 ti ran quite hot and require high rpm fan speed in Dan A4-SFX.

I'd save $430 by going with the non-Ti 2080...and if it does mean MUCH QUIETER, I'd rather do that. I'm examining benchmarks on the 2080Ti vs 2080 and they seem decently close.

Thanks for the input!

I did order the case, the motherboard, power supply and RAM. I'm going to wait on CPU, SSD and video card to see if prices go down here in a week or so, since the Dan case isn't set to ship until May 3rd.

FYI, 9900k pricing drop about 30-40$ since last week. Just go for RTX 2080, even Dan recommended it. Avoid buying FE card, mine RTX 2080 sound like jet engine with 70% fan speed in my Dan A4 v3.

You can choose only 2 things of this list :
- Small
- Performance
- Silence

You choose Small & Performance, so be ready to have a Noisy system.
