My build will be rocking a nice black and red wire scheme. Unfortunately the HDPLEX-250W aint matching the colors! Will spraying it with plastidip affect it at all? Or perhaps there is another method of coloring the PSU black.
As plastidip is non-conductive, I don't see an issue with that. Maybe @hdplex could help decide which parts of the PSU rely on passive heat dissipation that could be hindered by a layer of paint? Of course, you'd need to cover the pins on the connectors at the very least.
Next version of HDPLEX 250W DC-ATX will change the cables to something like this for 24PIN and 8PIN cable.
24PIN cable will decrease to 25cm from current 45cm.

This is a nice initiative ; however, I am afraid sleeved cables are going to add too much bulk to already overcrowded mini-itx builds...
Is there a financially viable way to provide two or three cabling options when ordering (sleeved / non-sleeved, 3 lenghts choices, etc.).
