It looks a lot like the High Power SFX-L units, any particular reason why you think it's FSP?

FSP is the OEM for most all their other units, I'll have to pixel peep later to check.

Those are an awful lot of pins for what we're used to seeing for ATX 24-pin and PCIe 8-pin. All the different voltage wires have sense wires ?

That's annoying, when I went there the guy I spoke to just made vague references to a 700W they're working on.

You were right, I happened to be double-checking pictures and realized they are using the SX700-LPT platform.

Tony mentioned that the fan on the SX800-LTI starts at a lower load level than the SX700-LPT because the 700W is actually more resilient to higher temps at lower loads than the 800W. So be quiet! is likely sacrificing wattage and guaranteed efficiency to optimize strictly for noise.
