Hey Thanks man. Yeah I'll have to settle on those and just run a thread tap myself since Motedis wanted so much for shipping. No problem as I have a drill press. I should have the bulk of materials to start building by end of May by beginning of may.

Just a friendly update for anybody following this thread and intending on building but hasn't ordered any parts:

Shipping delays and materials costs are skyrocketing. My arrival estimate for some of the pre-fabricated parts, such as the extruded aluminum, went from May to mid-July now.

Once I construct my own, I will have a lot of extra screws, inserts, magnets, etc. If anyone else wishes to follow Robbee's design precisely and you live in the US, I don't mind mailing the spares to you if you wish. Theycam ein bulk packages of 100 pieces so... I got a lot.

If they delay the parts any longer I may need to just pay the extra cost from Motedis as I find them to be a much preferable and likely reliable supplier.
