Nice to see ASRock putting their money where their mouth is and not giving up on STX, also since there's basically no MXM market to speak of if you're looking to buy off-the-shelf.

I'll be curious to see if Polaris' replacement is good enough to contend with Pascal MXM and keep the platform relevant. Here's hoping.

I'm waiting for them to update the chipset to z390 to see if they improve the power delivery stuff (unlikely) and include a beefier power brick, though I'll probably switch to an hdplex400 once its out as well, hopefully the problem that @confusis had with the burnt chip would be fixed.
