Looking at this review (youtube), I am faced with the following graph:

10ºC seem to me like too big of a difference. In theory same processor, same cooling solution.
Any of you have this board or could confirm / deny?

It looks the AsRock comes with kinda overclocked BIOS stock settings which allows the CPU to boost faster and therefore consuming more power / running hotter when maxed out.

If you want to run the CPU cooler you have to change certain BIOS settings. Then you will see similar results like with the other boards.

Personally I like to adjust the settings so that I get the best compromise between temperature / power consumption and performance.

No matter which board you get, I suggest to consider limiting the PPT. This will lower your temps without much performance sacrifice:

Excellent. Yes, there's also the ~90 MHz difference as well. And no, doesn't seem like a big sacrifice.
