It has been years that I made a full PC build. Finally it is finished. Chose the Meshroom S V2 case and pushed its limits to see how far I could stretch it for an ATX setup.

Some notes during this build:
- Since it is a tight build. Careful parts selection and planning is important.
- Read the manuals.
- TG Delided CPU + TG Heatspeader might be too low for your cooler (as was in mine). Needed TG Adapter & Offset Mounting Kit to adjust.
- For an ATX setup, needed a motherboard with vertically mounted SATA and USB connectors—something more common on budget models. Most boards these days, including mine, use side-mounted ports, which made fitting the Expansion Bracket essential if you want access to USB or SATA.
- The Gigabyte B850 AI TOP is a seriously underrated AM5 ATX motherboard. It features dual 10GbE RJ45 ports, two true M.2 PCIe 5.0 x4 slots, and a pair of PCIe 5.0 x16 slots (configured as 16x or 8x/8x), with support for up to 256GB of DDR5. Unlike many boards, it maintains full bandwidth across slots without degrading or disabling others when populated.
- You can flip the radiator so the tubes exit from the bottom, allowing space to mount an additional 15x120/140mm fan on top.
- If your motherboard features vertically mounted SATA and USB headers, the freed-up space can accommodate additional 15x120/140mm front-mounted fans.
- With Cinebench R23 Multicore in the loop, CPU (stock) is 72°C max.

Thank you!

Yes, you got me on that one. As a bit rusty on building, had many hiccups. Did component selection and installation-order planning before setting up. But actual work is different. Let me count (in no particular order):
- 3 x on fitting USB connectors from old case to Expansion Bracket (winged it at first, then had to read the manual).
- 3 x on placing Pump/CPU block, won't have contact to Heatspredder. Needs TG Adapter & Offset Mounting Kit .
- 2 x radiator mounting of liquid cooler (tried various tube orientation, chose top mount for longevity).
- 2 x M/B installation (Stand off mod are for ITX only, will bump psu)
- 2 x mounting PCIE Riser cable (1st was too short).
- 2 x Auxilliary fan placement (tried other options to mount and connect ).
- 1 x on fitting bracket for GPU PCIE connector to case (provided is too short)

That looks like quite the dense build.

I'm actually preparing to finish my very first build, originally started in the Meshlicious, now with the Meshroom S, too. Albeit not quite as dense, but I'm planning to level up with a Raid 1E and turning the system into a media server / NAS.

yeah, except if you go different routes, eg. Flex-ATX or HDPlex GaN.
- 2 x mounting PCIE Riser cable (1st was too short).
I actually have quite a few that might be .. too LONG :D
Lets hope the fancy one I choose is gonna fit - its probably too long, too, but it looks much better suited for this kind of task.

- 2 x Auxilliary fan placement (tried other options to mount and connect ).
Its what I tried out during my prep work in the very begin - the Meshlicious didnt have those options, so I was very curious how and IF this might work out. Thanks to successfully mounting the radiator with the tubes pointing DOWN, I managed to keep the slim fan top exhaust option. But that only seems feasable for microATX - with ATX, the space left below is probably too narrow.

How did you go about mounting the GPU? I'm currently struggling getting mine mounted properly, so that it doesnt like .. slice open the 240 AIO radiator. But if I mounted it a bit lower / more to the side, there doesnt seem to be proper attachment options, esp. for the riser cable, so it feels like it could tip over any minute ..

.. already tried the alternative mounting options shown over at TechPowerUp, but it doesnt seem to improve any of this :(
