News AMD RX 460 and RX 470 announced

AMD have announced the RX 460 and RX 470 cards.

It looks like the 460 will be PCIE slot powered which should be great for SFF systems. Look forward to seeing the benchmarks.

The RX 470 is described as being a 1080p card, so perhaps similar performance to a 970?

I'm amazed they got this design certified. Oh well, in a few weeks there will be plenty of custom PCBs and coolers available, which also seems to be the best choice if OC'ing performance and noise in of relevance. But with this design, it's hard to recommend this card to anyone. Why couldn't they just have used the same solution they've used on the R9 380 ?
