I'm working on a case design (~19L case for personal build) and was wondering if there are any reasonably priced CNC milling services. The design I'm currently working on is unibody aluminum, and I know that adds complexity and cost to the machining requirements - especially for a one-off - but I'd still like to have this done if the price isn't ridiculous (under $1,000). Do I need to find an individual with a 4-axis+ CNC mill, or are there any online services (that ship to the U.S.) that will do this?
My backup plan is to shrink the case design and alter it to where the z-height becomes doable with a CNC router, or otherwise convert to a traditional paneled design and steel construction, but I'd rather not do either unless I have to. Thanks for the help!
