The L9a is a much better option than the IS30. I've tested both and the IS30 came in pretty far behind. Aside from the L9a I can't think of any good AM4 coolers under 40mm to be honest

Looks like some improvement to the SE-913X. Hope it can perform well!

I haven't used it in the Ghost but I can provide details on thermals and noise in an open bench compared to many other coolers. That article should be published soon.

For the IS60, I only tested with the fan blowing down (aimed at motherboard). On the Black Ridge and the L12S I tested both with the fan blowing up and down. FYI I updated my testing suite and will be releasing an article very soon with an in depth comparison. I'll get you some info on my...

Yes they usually suck in from the top and blow out the side. In all seriousness though, I would guess it is unlikely it outperforms the intel stock cooler on a test bench but if the case is a cramped design with no fans to push air in our out of the case, then I would imagine it may perform...
